Our Ministries

Where the Church meets the world

In moments of crisis, service, or transition — our chaplains are present, offering guidance, sacramental care, and the steady witness of the Gospel.

Fields of Service

Seven ministries. One mission.

Chaplaincy on Lake Erie

Through the Anglican Mission of Lake Erie, our chaplains serve mariners, fishermen, port workers, and lakeside communities along the shores and waters of Lake Erie.

Military Chaplaincy

Standing alongside those in uniform — providing sacramental care, counsel, and the steady presence of Christ in service to the armed forces.

Governmental

Engaging institutional leadership and offering pastoral support to those in public service and the work of government.

Medical & Hospital

Caring for the sick, the suffering, and the dying — and for those who tend to them — in hospitals, hospices and clinics.

Educational

Forming young hearts and minds through chaplaincy in schools, colleges and universities; supporting students, faculty and staff.

Emergency Services

Walking with first responders — police, fire and rescue — through moments of crisis, loss, and quiet faithful service.

Institutional & Mission

Serving in prisons, workplaces, and other institutional and mission settings where pastoral care and spiritual presence are essential.

The Anglican Order of Our Lady of Walsingham

A dispersed Anglican religious order under the patronage of Our Lady of Walsingham — professing a ministry of presence through prayer, sacrament, and hospitality. Rooted in the Holy House of Nazareth, the Shrine of Walsingham, and the Book of Common Prayer, the Order offers a rule of life for chaplains, healthcare workers, first responders, teachers, and lay ministers who serve Christ at the edges. Ad Jesum Per Mariam — To Jesus Through Mary.

A Calling

Called to chaplaincy?

The Ordinariate exists to form, support, and equip clergy for chaplaincy ministry. If you sense a call to serve as a chaplain, we would welcome a conversation.
