O God of justice and mercy, who gavest thy servant Jonathan Daniels grace to witness unto thy love even unto death: Grant unto thy Church courage to stand with the oppressed, to defend the vulnerable, and to labor for righteousness and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
