O God, whose servant Dietrich Bonhoeffer boldly witnessed unto thy truth in the face of tyranny and death: Grant unto thy Church courage to defend the oppressed, faithfulness in times of trial, and steadfast hope amidst the powers of this world; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Receive, O Lord, these offerings which we present in remembrance of thy servant Dietrich Bonhoeffer, whom thou didst strengthen to proclaim thy truth and minister unto prisoners and the afflicted; and grant that we, nourished by these holy mysteries, may remain faithful unto thee in every trial; through Christ our Lord. Amen.
