Feast of the Founders

Leon Checkemian, James Martin, and Andrew Albert MacLaglen, Bishops and Founders of the Anglican Free Communion International

Ordinary Time, White

Collect

O God of truth, you illumined your Church through the witness of your servants Leon Checkemian, James Martin, and Andrew Albert MacLaglen, to build a Church where Protestant Christians could worship together around their common love of you. Inspire us also, that we may live in that same spirit of Ecumenical unity—working together to build your Church by showing everyone we encounter the love of Christ; through your Son, our Savior, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

Preface

Through the great shepherd of your flock, Jesus Christ our Lord, who after his resurrection sent forth his apostles to preach the Gospel and to teach all nations, and promised to be with them always, even to the end of the ages.
